High homogeneous glass for space optics applications

Space optics requires optical material with high degree of homogeneity and transmission coefficient.

The degree of homogeneity of blanks for space optics items is estimated by the difference of refraction indexes delta n within a blank volume that equals to (1-2)õ10^-6.

The transmission coefficient t_A is oscillated within 0.999 – 0.985 inside glass layer having thickness 25mm for various glass types.
