Our clear optical glass is used in a broad range of applications, i.e. in production of lenses, prisms, plates and other optical components used in viewing devices, measuring optical gauges, photo and projection equipment, visual and automatic systems of any devices that receiving, transmitting and transforming of optical emission as per the given law.

Clear optical glass is manufactured by three series depending on operational conditions of optical devices, they are 0, 100 and 200:
- Glasses series 0 is used for blanks of optical components of devices and equipment operating in usual conditions.
- Glasses series 100 is used for manufacturing of optical parts, devices and equipment operating in condition of advanced ionization radiation.
- Glasses series 200 is used for manufacturing of optical parts, devices and equipment operating in condition intensive and long-term exposure of ionization radiation.
Depends on refractive index nå and Abbe value vå the clear optical glasses are classified by groups that naming and designating according to Russian standards are given below:

The glasses of one group but having different chemical composition are given various types consisting of letters accepted as for the glass of this group and sequential number.
In addition the glass types are auxiliary designated by six-figured code consisting of two groups of figures divided by scribe mark. The first three figures are three ten-digit numbers of refractive index, the second three figures are Abbe value multiplied by 10 times.
